EFT Tapping in Times of High Stress
Hello, everyone. Today, we’re going to focus on tapping to navigate through moments of intense stress. Just last night, my mom’s house experienced a devastating fire. Thankfully, both my mom and my uncle are okay, but Uncle Dave, who’s 77 and a Vietnam veteran, had a significant rise in blood pressure. He’s currently at the hospital for observation.
Between them, they were caring for 11 senior Yorkies, and tragically, five of them did not survive. It’s an incredibly stressful situation, and it’s natural for everything to feel uncertain and overwhelming. In times like this, tapping may not be the first thing on your mind, but it might be the perfect time to tap.
I can personally attest that my stress levels are soaring. I’m deeply concerned for my mom, who’s already been through a lot, having lost my stepdad nearly two years ago. It’ll mark the two-year anniversary this month. This added crisis is shaking her world. Her house is just one street over from mine, and I could even smell the fire as I left my own home. Emotions are running high, and things are incredibly chaotic. I had to postpone various commitments and plans. But remember, in moments like this, tapping is often when we need it the most.
This experience aligns perfectly with our root chakra work. The uncertainty and fear associated with such a situation can shake our sense of security and stability. When you’re feeling stressed or uncertain, your root chakra can be affected. So, even when it’s the last thing you feel like doing, tapping can be a powerful tool to help you regain balance and calm.
